What is the Walk-In Clinic?

Our Walk-In Clinic is for those that need help with an urgent mental health need or require support between sessions with their outpatient mental health provider.

If you are considering harm to others or yourself, please go to the Emergency Department right away for immediate and appropriate care.

What ages can be seen?

Ages 18 and older. Depending upon level of mental health concern, pediatric patients should either call 507-831-0670 to set up an appointment with one of our outpatient mental health providers or go to the Emergency Department for immediate concerns.

What to Expect

When you arrive, you will meet with our Intake Specialist to complete intake paperwork and determine level of care. You will then meet with our therapist for evaluation; initial appointments can take up to 1 hour. After your appointment, resources will be provided to further help.

What if multiple patients show up?

Patients will be seen in order of arrival.

Each patient will meet with our Intake Specialist to prepare for the next opening and will be informed of estimated wait time. Patients may decide to wait until the next available opening or leave and return, but there will be no guarantee or held time slots.

Insurance and Billing

Depending on your health insurance, this hospital-based clinic may charge a separate facility fee, which might result in higher out-of-pocket expense. For more information, please contact our billing department at 507-831-0616.
