Ultrasound Therapy

Ultrasound is a therapy that uses sound waves to treat injuries like ankle sprains, muscle strains, and other musculoskeletal injuries.

Cupping Therapy

This therapy is another type of myofascial release which involves facilitating healing through increasing blood circulation to the muscles and tissues. By increasing blood flow to the area this can be beneficial for relieving or reducing muscle tension, promoting cell repair, and promoting healing to surrounding soft tissues. Cupping therapy is great for musculoskeletal injuries, pain management, hypertonic muscles, muscle spasms, and promoting relaxation and well-being.

Celluma Light Therapy

Celluma is a type of low-level light therapy that applies a variety of wavelengths (Blue, Red, and Near Infrared) to tissue to obtain therapeutic benefits. The energy is used to improve cellular performance. Light therapy is known for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties and has a variety of applications across many medical fields. Research has shown that low level light therapy can: increase circulation, accelerate tissue repair, kill acne bacteria, decrease inflammation, improve skin tone, texture and clarity, ease muscle and joint pain, stiffness, spasm, and arthritis. Celluma Light Therapy is FDA approved to treat pain, acne, and wrinkles and the technology embedded in Celluma was developed by NASA.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tension, relieves pain, reduces dysfunction and improves whole-body health and performance. This is a great technique for infants because it just involves very light touch to evaluate the craniosacral system.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS)

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) is a therapy that uses low dose electrical impulses to stimulate the muscles, and help the body release natural pain killers (endorphins & enkephalins) aiding the body in decreasing pain, reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and reduce muscle spasms and tonicity.

RockTape

RockTape can be used to treat sports and non-sports injuries. RockTape microscopically lifts the skin away from the muscle and fascia, creating a decompression effect. RockTape is preferred by athletes and medical professionals throughout the world.

RockTape is great for treating: Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis jumpers knee, ACL/MCL issues, rotator cuff injuries, groin and hamstring pulls, lower back issues and pain, shin splints, tennis and golf elbow, pain associated with pregnancy, and postural correction.

Custom Orthotics

Custom orthotics can provide relief for many different types of foot pain including: heel pain, plantar fasciitis, arch pain, pain caused by bunions, an injury or a sprain.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a great modality used in conjunction with adjustments. It addresses soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, tendons) and connective tissue (cartilage and lymphatic tissue) to aid in recovery. FAKTR is used commonly for a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions including but not limited to: sprains/strains, plantar fasciitis, IT-Band Syndrome, shin splints, whiplash, post-concussion and sports injuries, and muscle adhesions from stress, and posture.

Exercise/Nutrition Counseling

Dr. Norell strives to implement research-based recommendations for exercise, nutrition, and supplementation, and practical goals for you to set and reach, to help you to live that healthy and happy life you desire.

Facial Cupping & Gua Sha
