Brianna is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW). She received her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato with undergraduate degrees in social work and alcohol and drug studies. Brianna has experience in a wide variety of settings including outpatient mental health, emergency department social work, hospitals, schools, and group home settings providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Brianna’s practice has involved working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Being from southwest Minnesota herself, much of her practice has been in rural Minnesota serving underserved and vulnerable populations.

Brianna has a passion for deeply getting to know others and their story. Brianna considers it a privilege to be invited into people’s most vulnerable moments. Brianna believes that everyone has the ability problem solve and the capacity to feel better. Brianna is dedicated to making the journey with patients and enjoys being able to provide others with the tools necessary to achieve their goals.

Brianna uses an eclectic approach to therapy, often pulling elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness, and lots of humor.  Brianna has experience in treatment of various mental health difficulties including, but not limited to, the following:

Outside of work Brianna enjoys rollerblading, being on the lake, traveling, watching a good movie, trying new food, and spending time with her family and two fur babies; a cat named Norman and a dog named Leonard.
