The Wellness Center at Windom Area Health offers a variety of health services including education classes, health assessments, corporate incentive programs promoting healthy behaviors, and memberships to the Wellness Center.

Membership Information
The Wellness Center at Windom Area Health offers a variety of membership opportunities including individual and family memberships, monthly and daily passes, and specialty classes.
Members must be 12 years of age. Memberships may be sold to younger dependents with a physician's order. However, these memberships will be given at the discretion of the Wellness Center Supervisor.
Physician’s Release:
The Wellness Center recommends that all members consult with their personal physician before beginning an exercise program.

Personal Training
Personal Training at the Windom Area Health Wellness Center is ideal for those 17 years or older who are interested in improved functional movement, weight loss, weight management, active aging, or strength training.
We not only want to improve our clients’ physical health, but also help them maintain healthy lifestyle changes, and overall wellness.

Group Exercise Classes
Group exercise classes are a motivational alternative to exercising alone. A variety of classes are offered at the Wellness Center (see class descriptions below).
A medium to high intensity 60 minute row and strength based workout. There will be on and off the rower exercises that will total to about 40 minutes of work with a total of 20 minutes of warmup and cool down.
Participants will be instructed on the proper form to row and lift correctly with full body effort and power.
SAIL
SAIL (Stay Active & Independent for Life) is an evidence-based balance, strength, and flexibility fitness program for older adults that are 65+ with a primary focus on fall prevention. The program is designed for any level of ability and can be done standing or sitting down.
Alive & Active
Alive & Active, recommended for ages 55 and older, focuses on strengthening muscles used for activities of daily living. This 45-minute class incorporates strength training through the use of hand weights, resistance bands, and coordination exercises targeted to strengthen muscles used during everyday activities.
Fit Row
Fit Row is a low-impact, total body workout! Utilizing the rowers for various strength sets along with rotations of rowing, this class is ideal for working legs, core, arms, and back. This class is limited to 9 rowers and runs for 6-week sessions. Additional charges apply: $40 for members, $60 for non-members.
Gentle Yoga
This class is perfect for those people looking to improve their flexibility and balance in a gentle flowing relaxed class.
Boot Camp
Six weeks of overall body transformation! Target areas and benefits include: strengthened core, upper and lower body, increased metabolism at rest and mood booster. Come and pump up the jam in the mornings and feel great all day! Class size is limited and additional fees apply. Additional charges apply: $40 for members and $60 for non-members.
Strength
This class utilizes dumbbells, body weight exercises, kettle bells, TRX and resistance bands to provide a full-body workout. Participants are encouraged to use different size weights depending on their goals.

MMA Fit
MMA Fit is now being offered at the Wellness Center through Medina's Martial Arts. MMA Fit offers a full body, all-inclusive cross-fit class that meets the needs of any level of fitness. MMA Fit takes a multi-pronged approach to fitness by incorporating strength, endurance, and agility training into high intensity workouts guaranteed to produce results. Tae Kwon Do
Medina’s Martial Arts is offering Tae Kwon Do classes at Windom Area Health. Tae Kwon Do is not just for learning methods of self-defense it is also a great workout for all ages and fitness levels. The Wellness Center is supervised during staffed hours by a Wellness Center Attendant who can assist members with questions regarding memberships or equipment.
