Dr. Jonsson is a medical school graduate from the University of Iceland. He completed a residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he also completed his cardiology fellowship. Dr. Jonsson is Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant and Nuclear Medicine.
