Dr. Kendra Kamlitz is a board-certified general surgeon. She studied at the University of North Dakota and completed her residency at the University of Kansas in Wichita. Her deep interest in the medical field stems from her background in a medical family. Her motivation to pursue a career in general surgery is driven by her passion for serving as many people in her community as possible. She appreciates the wide variety of services she can offer.
Dr. Kamlitz has a strong commitment to serving rural communities, which inspired her to join Windom Area Health. She firmly believes in the importance of local access to healthcare, and strives to serve a diverse range of patients in her practice. With each patient, she takes an individualized approach, recognizing that every case has its unique complexities and personal significance. Her dedication to patient comfort and satisfaction is unwavering, especially during critical surgical phases. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Kamlitz is a wife and mother of two. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, listening to music, and exploring the great outdoors.
