Brianne Miller received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities after completing her undergraduate degree at Augustana University in psychology and sociology. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, providing individual and family psychotherapy to treat mental health conditions. Brianne is also a board approved clinical licensing supervisor.
Brianne is trained and certified in a wide variety of psychotherapy techniques, including CBT, TI-CPP, EMDR, SFBT, Motivational Interviewing, and psychodynamic and family systems therapies. She provides psychoeducation on a variety of mental health disorders and works with the individual person within the context of the systems they exist in. Brianne’s practice also includes a trauma framework, addressing and treating issues stemming from physical and emotional abuse and neglect, sexual abuse, and grief and loss. She has extensive experience providing community-based mental health services in rural areas and works collaboratively with other service providers involved in a patient’s care to ensure comprehensive, intentional, and integrated services. Born and raised in a rural setting, she is passionate about providing quality mental health care to marginalized communities.
In her spare time, Brianne enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and labrador retriever. She loves sewing, hiking, camping, traveling, kayaking, and any time spent relaxing and laughing with friends and family.
