Alettie Lewis, PA-C, specializes in family medicine. She provides care to families and individuals of all ages. She completed graduate school at University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD, and received her board certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She has also had the distinction of being chosen as the recipient of the Nelson Shield Award.
She treats a variety of acute and chronic conditions, including asthma, COPD, dermatology issues, diabetes, hypertension, mental health concerns, and thyroid abnormalities to name a few. Services she provides include obtaining a patient’s medical history, performing physical exams, ordering, performing and interpreting lab and diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, treating common illnesses, applying and removing sutures, as well as providing health education and counseling. Her goal is to provide personal care that recognizes a patient’s physical, emotional and social well-being. It is important that her patients feel listened to and encouraged at each visit.
Alettie’s hobbies include spending time with family and friends, relaxing at a lake, taking care of her animals and staying active.
