Mary Oeltjenbruns
Mary Oeltjenbruns is our employee of the quarter for Quarter 1 of 2020!
Whether being nominated by her teammates for picking up shifts and being a part of great teamwork, or by many of the OB patients that she has made an impact on, Mary has consistently been nominated through our Caught You Caring program for several years. Mary leads the lactation, childbirth education, and Great Beginnings programs for Windom Area Health, and through these programs her impact on our community is evident. One mom said, “I recently had a baby at WAH and had the privilege of having Mary as my nurse. Mary is simply amazing at her job. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Thank you for all you do, I was blessed to have you as one of my nurses.”
After 27 years of dedication to WAH, her team, and her patients, Mary will be retiring at the end of July. One patient noted, “Mary has so much love and respect for the people she cares for.” We’d say the feeling is mutual from your team here at WAH. She has very large shoes to fill and will be greatly missed by all!
