Blake Westman
Blake Westman, Registered Nurse, has been named Windom Area Health’s employee of the quarter for Quarter 2, 2022! Blake has been with Windom Area Health as an RN since 2018, and works in the Emergency Department, Obstetrics, and inpatient units.
Over the years, Blake has been recognized ELEVEN times for going above and beyond for patients and her coworkers. Here are just a few comments from the eleven nominations:
A patient that had a traumatic emergency room visit noted, “I want to give a HUGE shout out and thank you to Blake Westman! Knowing you and you being there helped me remain calm.”
Another patient recalled, “I brought my dad into the emergency room. All of your staff treated us great, but a nurse named Blake was outstanding with dad. Her bedside manner and attitude went above and beyond.”
A coworker recognized Blake’s extraordinary commitment, “Blake had to stay overnights after her evening shift. She ended up going on 3 or maybe more transfers to Sioux Falls.”
