Kay Gross was appointed to the Windom Area Health Governing Board in September 2017. She currently serves as the Vice Chair.

When asked what influenced her decision to serve on the board, Kay said, “Living in Windom all my life, I have had numerous occasions where the hospital has been a place where we (my family and I) have had life changing experiences; some joyful and some sorrowful but I believe the professionalism and care that was given by all staff is something we need to keep and nurture in our community.”
Kay is looking forward to learning the intricacies of hospital governance and to use her personal experiences to help strengthen the goals and objectives of the Board and Staff.
Kay has been around Windom her entire life. She grew up on a farm northwest of Windom, attended Windom Area High School and currently lives in Windom.
