Dr. Michael B. Fisher was appointed to the Windom Area Health Governing Board in May, 2017. He currently serves as the Chair.
Michael graduated from Bethel College in St. Paul, MN in 2001 with a Bachelors in Biology and went on to attend the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. In 2005, he graduated as a Doctor of Optometry and is board certified in Minnesota. Dr. Fisher has been practicing for 11 years and is the current owner/optometrist at Fisher Eye Care Clinic, LLC. in Windom, Minnesota. He is also a member of the American & Minnesota Optometric Associations.
To quote Dr. Fisher on his reasons and goals in joining the board he states, “I joined to become more involved in the community. I really want to help make the hospital grow and advance. I’d like to be a part of making beneficial changes to the hospital and community.”
Michael is originally from Windom and graduated from Windom Area High School. He enjoys working out, running, traveling, and antique shopping.
