Jennifer Krieg, MS, PA-C, is an experienced physician assistant who has a wide range of experience with orthopedics. She received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago and has provided services across Iowa and Minnesota.
From an early age, her interest in healthcare was sparked by family discussions that revolved around the experiences of her relatives, many of whom worked as nurses. This early exposure to the field shaped her career choice, leading her to become a physician assistant.
She aims to serve as an integral part of the physician team, enhancing patient access to healthcare, particularly in rural areas. “My focus on orthopedics is due to my love for sports and the movement of the human body, it is the greatest machine ever designed,” stated Krieg. She appreciates the family feel of Windom Area Health. Krieg stated, “It isn’t so big that you become just another number, and people know you by name, and that provides a feeling of comfort.” Outside of work, she dedicates her free time to supporting her children at various activities. Together with her husband, she often is at the track, softball diamond, football field, or golf course, cheering on their kids as they pursue their interests.
