Caught You Caring:

Nicole Sammons

Nicole Sammons

Nicole has been with Windom Area Health as an Occupational Therapist for over 15 years, and works with many patients in our Rehabilitation Department. She has been instrumental in starting our senior driving program, and also growing our pediatric and sensory integration services. She has been known to adjust her schedule to make sure she can meet the needs of her patients. Nicole has dedicated much time and hard work here at Windom Area Health and it is obvious both patients and WAH employees enjoy working with her! Here are some of the many comments we have received lately:

“Nicole has been extremely helpful in treating my various pain issues both with direct therapy in the hospital and giving me advice and exercises to do at home. She is excellent, very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I am grateful to have this care so close to home, thank you!”

“OT Therapist, Nicole, is amazing! She is so caring and compassionate.”

“Nicole listens to my feedback and concerns and works with me to make sure I am making progress towards a full recovery. She demonstrates great empathy and care for her patients and paces the therapy to avoid unnecessary pain and risk of another injury.”

Thanks for all you do, Nicole!
