The series educates parents on what to expect during the birthing experience and how to care for a child. Classes cover a variety of topics including nutrition\, stages of labor\, breathing techniques\, cesarean births\, birthing complications\, breastfeeding\, the importance of exercise\, a tour of the Birth Place\, and basic safety and child care issues. DESCRIPTION:Windom Law Enforcement/EMS and the Windom Fire Department will once again be competing to see who can recruit the most blood donors for the community’s blood supply in the 18th annual “Heroes Behind the Badges” community blood drive. \nThe drive will be held on Monday\, September 25th from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:30p.m.-4:30 p.m. at Windom Area Health. Community Blood Bank’s bloodmobile will be on-site to take the donations near the main entrance.
