DESCRIPTION:The Parkinson’s Support Group Meets monthly – Every 2nd Tuesday from September – June. \n2:00 p.m. at the Windom Area Hospital \nLarge Conference Room (enter through Rehab Entrance) \nOur informal group is a great resource for those recently diagnosed\, to long time survivors\, to anyone in between! Caregivers are also welcome to come alone or with their loved one. \nHospital staff facilitate the group and arrange for speakers on topics the group is interested in. Topics have included: exercise\, advanced directives\, nutrition\, adaptable equipment\, medications for Parkinson’s\, and more. DESCRIPTION:Join us for Chamber Coffee on Friday\, May 11 in the Windom Area Hospital Cafeteria from 10-11 a.m. featuring our Wound and Hyperbaric Healing Center.\nConstruction is underway for our new Wound & Hyperbaric Healing Center\, which is scheduled to open in July. The center will provide specialized wound care that is typically reserved for chronic wounds\, such as pressure ulcers\, diabetic foot ulcers\, arterial sores\, and radiation therapy burns. During our Chamber Coffee we will be explaining the services offered in the new service line and Nikkie Steen\, Clinical Program Director for the center\, will be on hand to answer questions. We will have giveaways and a drawing for a Car Cooler! \n
