DESCRIPTION:Windom Law Enforcement/EMS and the Windom Fire Department will once again be competing to see who can recruit the most blood donors for the community’s blood supply in the 16th annual “Heroes Behind the Badges” community blood drive.  Special T-Shirt & McDonald’s Gift Card to all who donate! \nThe drive will be held on Monday\, September 20th from 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 3:00p.m.-6:00 p.m. at Windom Area Health. Community Blood Bank’s bloodmobile will be on-site to take the donations near the main entrance. Classes cover a variety of topics including nutrition\, stages of labor\, breathing techniques\, cesarean births\, birthing complications\, breastfeeding\, the importance of exercise\, a tour of the Birth Place\, and basic safety and child care issues.
